Horizon's Storeroom & Inventory Management Solutions (SIMS) help drive cost out of your business. Our job-site inventory management program for contractors keeps your employees working on the job instead of searching for products. Our program lets you track the usage of your inventory by job code, leverage your buying power for negotiated pricing and prevents you from being stuck with excess inventory at the end of your job.
The Benefits
The SIMS on-site inventory program automates and manages your job site inventory with a bar code system that saves you time and money. Having the right inventory on-site when you need it will save on the labor costs created by having your people spend time placing orders for lists of material, running out for parts and waiting for material on the job site. Additionally, you won't have to worry about having excess inventory at the end of the job. When you utilize our SIMS On-Site Program, we will issue credits for all qualifying product. The SIMS on-site program also provides you with robust reporting capabilities that will give you access to updates on projects, help you with job costing and let you keep track of where your inventory is going.
Get Organized
Keeping your on-site inventory organized and well accounted for can have a major impact on the profitability of your job. Have any of these situations happened to you?
- Your job site is in a remote location and managing your on-site inventory is not cost effective.
- You made inefficient wire cuts or used an unsatisfactory length of wire, conduit, or PVC because that was all you could find at the time.
- When you completed a job, you had a considerable amount of excess inventory that you did not need.
- Your job was delayed because you were out of stock on a critical part and had to scramble to get that material to your job site.
The more disorganized a job site's inventory is, the greater the risk for lost components, unproductive employees and increased costs. Working with Horizon Solutions will help you increase your efficiency and productivity by creating more organized and trackable on-site inventory solutions. The products you need every day will be stocked both in the trailer and at Horizon Solutions.
